Duties of the President:


A.- Preside at all regular and special meetings of the Local and Local
Executive Board, and act as Chairman of the Negotiation Committee.

B.- Preserve order, interpret and enforce the Constitution and By-Laws of this Local
and enforce the Constitution of the International Union.

C.- Be and ex-officio member of all committees, but shall have no vote at such
meetings, except in case of a tie.

D.- Appoint, subject to the approval of the Membership, all special
committees when an election of same is called for.

E.- Sign all checks in conjunction with the Financial Secretary-Treasurer.

F.- Be accountable to the Executive Board.

G.- Be a delegate to all bodies to which the Local Union sends a delegate.

H.- Send official notice in conjunction with the Recording Secretary to the International Union
that the Local's books and records have been audited and stating condition of the books and records.



Duties of the Vice President


A.- Assume all duties of the President in his or her absence. The President will notify the
Vice President when the Vice Presidentis to accept the duties of the office of President
for a temporary period.

B.- The Vice President will accept assignments of duties
given to him or her by the President. The Vice President will
report back to the President in a timely manner, the results of
such assignment or duties.

C.- In the event of the President's death, resignation or recall,
the Vice President will perform the duties of the President until the
provision of Article X - Election of Officers are enforced in a timely manner.


Duties of the Chief Steward

A.- Preside over all meetings of the Stewards Council.

B.- See that all provisions of the contract are enforced.

C.- Assist the department steward in any emergency situations that may
arise during working hours.

D.- Respond to emergency calls from union members where department
stewards are unable to act.

E.- Check the activities of the shift or department stewards in order to improve the
functioning of the stewards system and to make reports and recommendations
to the meetings of the Stewards Council for this purpose.


Duties of the Financial Secretary Treasurer


A.- Receive , receipt and account for all money paid to the Local.

B.- Furnish all supplies pertaining to the Local.

C.- Pay all bills authorized by the Local.

D.- Account for all local expenditures.

E.- Furnish a monthly financial report of the Local.

F.- Furnish a report on and payment for per capita to the Secretary-Treasurer
of the International Union not later than the 27th day of the month following
the month in which dues are collected.

G.- Furnish a semi-annual report to the International Union.

H.- Sign checks in conjunction with the President.

I.- Deposit all money, as directed by the Local Executive Board, within five
business days after he receives such monies.

J.- Account for all money deposited.

K.- Perform such other duties, with the approval of the Local
Executive Board, as may be necessary for the proper and effective
functioning of the financial affairs of the Local.


Duties of the Recording Secretary


A.- Record minutes and keep all records of the meetings of the Local, Executive Board and Negotiating Committee.

B.- Conduct correspondence

C.- Provide the International Union's Secretary-Treasurer regularly
with an up-to-date mailing list of the Local's members.

D. Perform such other duties with the approval of the Local Executive Board
as may be necessary for the proper and effective administration of the affairs of the Local.

E.- Send official notice in conjunction with the President to the Secretary-Treasurer of the International Union that the Local's books and records have been audited and stating the condition of the books and records.
